The 20-time Journey Continues

So it's been a while since I have written and thinking about it now, I wish I would've continued writing my blog. Although my 20-time didn't continue in school, I still live with the lessons that the project taught me. This week I had the chance to share my 20-time experience with the Spanish 3 and IB World Lit 1 students.
I still remember sitting in class as a junior, listening to the expert panel, and then venturing into the unknown with the rest of my class. Or in my case, with both of my classes. Sitting on the "expert" panel today was such a crazy experience, a year ago I was the listener and now people are listening to me. Whaaaat? But it felt good to be able to share a part of my journey with the students who will be starting their journey soon. I hope they know that even if they "fail" their goal, they are taking so much more away from this project. It is so different when compared to the typical school day and that's one of the best parts about this project. There is some much that can be done, so many goals to choose from. Even though picking a topic is hard, if you have passion for it you'll be okay. I really would love to be a mentor or a go-to person for any of the students! In a way that would be continuing my 20-time goal: helping others. So Juniors/Spanish 3 Students hmu! ;) I just hope that everyone doing the project has fun with it and takes something away from it. This is a "lifetime". It is so different from traditional schoolwork that it'll stick with you forever! So Good Luck to everyone embarking on their 20-time journey and remember, the best is yet to come!

Much Love,
Vrushangi
